DIY Wood Coffee Table

Some exciting news to share with you all!!! Our house is finally in escrow.  Be praying it doesn’t fall through and that we can close in a quick 35 days.   I’ve already been commuting to work for about a week and half, and the days have been long.. Not to mention i’ve been sick which makes the days feel even longer.   Things are starting to feel like they are finally starting to fall into place. Now, if only we can figure out our next living situation.

Since our house has been on the market, my weekend projects have been kept to a minimum.  I did however, have the chance to tackle a this diy wood coffee table that I want to share with you guys today.  You can find the original tutorial here on Little Glass Jar Blog. The tutorial was good, and to be honest all my husband and I needed were the measurements and we figured out the steps on our own from there.  This tutorial was so simple a beginner could for sure do this in a few hours!  It cost us about $40 (we already had some of the stain at home).  It’s not too heavy of a table but still a solid piece of furniture.  I love the industrial look it has.  Here’s how ours turned out.

While in process….

Our plan is to figure out the measurements and build a matching side table for the living room.  Stay tuned for the tutorial.
